Week beginning Monday, April 13

As last Wednesday, we will use Google Meet as a virtual classroom. You will receive an email around 5 minutes before the beginning of our class inviting you to a Google Meet session. Make sure your computer / laptop / phone has enough battery life left or is connected to a reliable energy source.

What we covered in class on Wednesday, April 15: We corrected the vocabulary task from last week's activity (here is a quizlet to help you learn the vocab in question). Homework for Wednesday April 22: Revise all the vocabulary we covered in unit 2 (Manchester and Detroit: here is the quizlet set of the first part but you'll have to complete it with these words) and Surveillance capitalism (quizlet above). Here is the link. The test will be available for 24h (April 21 12:40 - April 22 16:45), you will need to log in with your real name and surname and will only have one go. Answers will be timed and will only count if submitted within the allotted time frame. I trust you so please don't try to take the test several times under a bogus name because I would have to cancel the whole thing. Thanks :)
