Homework for Wednesday, May 5: Work on your presentations (assignment 4 here). Team up in groups of 3 or 4, create a Power Point presentation, upload it to the internet via https://www.slideshare.net/. The idea is for you to give us the link next Wednesday to enable us to follow the presentation simultaneously on our respective computers -with your instructions of course-. Here is a video on effective presentation + signposting + video on communication and public speaking skills + a revision of graph description vocab if you need it.

What we did in class on Wednesday, April 22:  Error correction activity based on the mistakes you made in your reports. Here is the key. Make sure you study it thoroughly since it will be part of the final exam. We also completed last week's activity on corporate misbehaviour. Here is the vocabulary we covered.

Homework for Wednesday, April 29: LEARN all the vocabulary and concepts (possessives and gerunds, paragraph writing, graph description, subjunctive) we've covered so far. Here is the quiz in question it is available until Wednesday, 15:30. By the way I found a super interesting video/tutorial on possessive gerunds if you need more explanations: here it is.

Homework for Wednesday April 22: Revise all the vocabulary we covered in unit 2 (Manchester and Detroit: here is the quizlet set of the first part but you'll have to complete it with these words) and Surveillance capitalism (quizlet above). Here is the link. The test will be available for 24h (April 21 12:40 - April 22 16:45), you will need to log in with your real name and surname and will only have one go. Answers will be timed and will only count if submitted within the allotted time frame. I trust you so please don't try to take the test several times under a bogus name because I would have to cancel the whole thing. Thanks :)
