What we covered in class today: We watched a video on racial bias in law enforcement in the USA today and held a debate on racial (and otherwise) bias in Spain. We also started a 3-stage activity on an article by The Economist.

Homework for tomorrow: Finish the vocab-searching activity and answer the comprehension questions in part 2.

What we covered in class today: We finished the activity on Mad Men and watched the following video until 21:00.

Homework for Monday: Create a 10-item gap-fill exercise (using a selection of the vocabulary we've seen so far) along these lines:

She managed to _________________ a part-time job as well as being fully commited to the course. "

Tip: to obtain this last sentence I googled "managed to juggle" and "The Guardian".
