Homework for Wednesday, April 24: Press review + write a 350-word report (one report per group) on the results of your survey. Before you start writing, read the report on theatre-going intentions and analyse it (here is the original activity I devised around the report in question with the definitions of interesting words and phrases highlighted on page 3) and its complete correction. I also recommend you do this exercise again ;)

What we covered on Wednesday, April 3: Press review + we started a dossier on survey techniques / report writing (make sure you get it from your classmates). Here are the "ten commandments" of good survey writing. Students teamed up in groups and devised a survey questionnaire on equality and diversity in society (they agreed on an angle beforehand). Homework for Wednesday, April 10: Press review + Finish your questionnaire, send it to me per email and carry it out (you need at least 50 respondents). If you are not part of a team yet, make sure you contact your classmates and join a group or form another one.
