What we covered in class on Wednesday, November 16: Course book p74-75 (except the Speaking part) + signpost language

Homework for Monday, November 21: Press Review + revise the above-mentioned signpost language.

By the way: On my way back home I finally found a decent example of a "sore point" : my best friend was unable to complete her PHD 15 years ago and it's always been a bit of a sore point with her, she told me recently she is only starting to come to terms with it...

What we covered in class on Friday, November 18: Press Review + signpost language revision + speaking activity around visual aids such as Power Point presentations + we viewed this video. Course book p76-77 + activity based on a video by The Economist Films.
